Brette and I grew up together in Tahoe. Her hiding spot was high in the Aspen trees between our houses. I could never climb quite like she could. These days, Brette is conquering climbs all over the world. When Moment invited me to make a short film with their new Superfish lens, I knew exactly who I wanted to catch up with.
We climbed Serenity & Sons in the beautiful Yosemite Valley. The ascent was a breeze for Brette. I called it quits midway up, but felt more accomplished and inspired than I ever had before with climbing. I'm currently building endurance and understanding of the sport to climb with Brette again without slowing her down. She's unstoppable, but I'll get there.
