So you want to make a killer video?

Excellent.
Here’s how I roll.

1 Ideation

We meet and discuss the objectives for the video. What you hope for, what you don’t. We get all our ideas out. These we turn into storyboards and work through together.

2 Animatic

With an approved storyboard, I’ll then create an animatic. This will give us a solid understanding of the pacing, audio, shots, and general feel for the video. Extremely helpful in aligning the team’s vision and expectations before we even get any cameras out.

3 Production

Creative directing. Shooting. Styling. The whole shebang.
Happy to work with a small team and share roles, or divvy it up and go big with a heavy hitting crew. The scale and team depends entirely on the scope of the project. I personally love to direct, and am happy to shoot or hand the camera off to a DP.

4 Edit

I work best in the Adobe Suite. First make some rough cuts. We review those with the team. If all signs are go, then add animation and effects if needed, then finally a few color passes and we’re golden.
